Getting Started

How do I create a session?

After logging in, click "Create New Session" on your dashboard. Enter a session name and topic, then configure your timer settings. Your session will be ready for participants to join.

How do participants join my session?

Share your session code or QR code with participants. They can visit the join page and enter the code, or scan the QR code directly. No account required for participants.

What are the different session phases?

Registration: Participants join the session.
Noting: Participants submit their ideas as digital sticky notes.
Voting: Participants vote on their favorite ideas.
Results: View and share the winning ideas.

Session Management

Can I extend the timer during a phase?

Yes! As a facilitator, you can extend any timed phase by clicking the "Extend Time" button. You can also grant time extension requests from participants.

How do I select finalists?

After voting ends, go to the Voting/Finalists tab and click on notes to mark them as finalists. Then click "Publish Finalists" to share the results with participants.

Can I restart a phase?

Yes, you can restart the Noting or Voting phases from the Session Control section. This allows you to re-run a phase if needed.

Participants

How many participants can join?

There's no limit on participants. Note and Vote is designed to handle groups of any size, from small teams to large audiences.

Can participants add images or links to their notes?

Yes! Participants can attach images and add links to their submitted notes to provide more context for their ideas.

Can I remove a participant?

Yes, facilitators can kick participants from the Participants tab if needed. Kicked participants can be unbanned later if necessary.

Billing & Account

How does the free trial work?

Your 7-day free trial starts when you register. During the trial, you have full access to all features. No credit card is required to start.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can manage your subscription from the Billing page in your account. Click "Manage Subscription" to access Stripe's customer portal where you can cancel anytime.

What happens when my trial expires?

After your trial ends, you'll need to subscribe to continue creating and managing sessions. Your existing session data will be preserved.
